Hunter Rescue
Please join Chief Tom Basher, a certified New York State Fire Instructor, for this free, comprehensive class to learn how rescuing a hunter from a tree stand or fall protection can be extremely dangerous and a time sensitive task. Ground ladders and aerial devices may not get it done. This class will teach and discuss the different concerns, equipment and skills needed for hunter rescue, and covers the proper techniques of rescuer safety and victim retrieval from height.

Rope Rescue “Car Over The Embankment”
Quickly and safely gaining access to a vehicle in a ravine, and packaging and hauling a patient and crew up a hillside all require skill, practice, knowledge and know-how. Join Chief Tom Basher, a certified New York State Fire Instructor, as he reviews all the rescue knots, rope systems, tools, and the latest equipment used during embankment rescues, as well as teaches good tactics and techniques for a successful and safe rope rescue.
