Each year FASNY recognizes achievements in firefighting, EMS, teaching, fire safety education and community service. FASNY also helps recognize those volunteer firefighters who have achieved 50 years of service and departments celebrating 100 years or more of service in New York State.

Gerard J. Buckenmeyer Memorial FASNY Volunteer Scholarship
The Gerard J. Buckenmeyer Memorial FASNY Volunteer Scholarship program is made possible each June through the generous donations of individuals, fire departments and auxiliaries.
Golden Trumpet
The FASNY Golden Trumpet Award is given to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional support for and assistance to the volunteer fire service.
Service Certificate Requests
FASNY awards certificates to volunteer firefighters who have achieved 50 years in the volunteer fire service and departments with 100 years or more of service to their community.
