When I sign in to my account, it says that I am not a member. Why?
1. You must sign in with the email address associated with your FASNY membership account. If you make a new account with a different email address, that account will show as non-member, as it is not linked to your FASNY membership account.
2. You could have lapsed in membership. Check your “member through date” to see if that date has passed.

Can you mail me a new membership card?
We now offer digital membership cards that you can download directly to your mobile device! Click here to access your digital membership card.

If you cannot access your digital membership card, please call the office, and we will try to make a physical copy. Please note that the physical cards will not be as useful or as accurate as a digital card, as the digital cards update automatically.

Can I pay my membership dues online?
Yes! If you’re paying for yourself, you can sign into your account and click the blue “Renew” button, then follow the steps.

Where can I see my member benefits?
All of your membership benefits are listed here! They are also listed in your account under the “Benefits” tab.

Does FASNY have life insurance?
No, FASNY does not offer life insurance. We do offer a $10,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment policy for our members. AD&D insurance is not life insurance.

As a full company, I deleted a member’s account that we paid for. Can I add another person to replace them and not pay?
No, payments are tied directly to the individual’s account, and they cannot be swapped.

I just updated our company roster. Why does the amount due look incorrect?
1. When you update a roster, it can take 24 hours for the system to sync and reflect the changes. Once the new total has been calculated, you will receive an email with steps to continue.
2. Another possibility is that some of your members were not designated to be paid for by the organization. When you are adding members, remember that you MUST check off the “responsible for membership” selection.

I just joined my volunteer fire department, but my name wasn’t listed under new members in the latest FASNY Volunteer Firefighter Magazine?
Please note that the magazine is always around 2 months behind because it is a bi-monthly publication. If you have recently joined FASNY, your name may not appear in the magazine until the next issue depending on publication dates.

Can I be a delegate for two different organizations? Or, can I be a delegate for one organization, and an alternate delegate for another?
No, you can only have one delegate or alternate delegate affiliation with one organization.

How can I manage my company’s roster online?
You must be a “Company Manager” to make changes to your roster. If you have been appointed by your organization as their “Company Manager”, you can access your roster by logging into your own account and selecting “company profile” from the personal snapshot page. From there, you will see “Manage Roster” at the bottom of the page.

As a full company representative, why can’t I log into their account?
If you have been designated as the FASNY “Company Manager” for an organization, you will need to sign in using the email you provided when you were appointed “Company Manager”. If you believe there was an error, please contact our Membership team at 518-434-0987.
