Our annual statewide open house event is dedicated to growing the fire service in New York State. The weekend has helped add some 20,000 volunteers to the firefighting ranks over the years. Participation is open to any and every department or organization.

FASNY, sectional and county leaders gather with the Legislative Committee and Representative to craft our organization’s agenda for the coming year.

Winter Games

Each year, some 300 firefighters from around the state come to Central New York for competition that tests firefighting skills and builds camaraderie.

The Firefighter’s Home Second Annual Open House

Get ready to spice up Saturday, September 27, 2025 with some fun and a little competition. Gather your team for the Firefighter’s Home Cornhole Tournament and you might just win a cash prize! Enjoy a BBQ cookout, fiery chili cookoff, family scavenger hunt, and a guided tour of the Home.
All proceeds support the Firefighter’s Home.
