Taunton volunteer firefighter reelected as director of Firemen’s Association of the State of New York
Taunton, NY — A former Taunton fire chief was reelected to a second five-year term on the board of directors of the Firemen’s Association of the State of New York.
Kenneth Pienkowski, a 44-year veteran firefighter who served with the Taunton Volunteer Fire Department, was reelected at a recent convention of the association in Alexandria Bay.
Pienkowski retired from Chrysler Corp. and later became employed in the insurance industry. Pienkowski was a former president of the Taunton Volunteer Fire Department, the Onondaga County Volunteer Firemen’s Association and the county Fire Chiefs Association.
