Two Percent Tax Committee
This committee is comprised of FASNY members across New York State who help to inform the volunteer fire service of the purposes and uses of 2% Foreign Tax monies. The committee is available to assist firefighters with their inquiries regarding the 2% Tax via outreach and seminars, as well as publications of guidebooks for fire departments and chartered benevolent organizations. On an annual basis, the committee provides a question and answer forum related to 2% Tax issues.
